The New York Times said that the laptop was alleged to be owned by Hunter Biden and that experts say at least some of the emails on the laptop are authentic emails of Hunter Biden. The New York Times did not say anyone has confirmed the laptop in question was actually owned by Hunter Biden OR even existed at all (but that has not been ruled out).

I suspect some Republican or Russian hacked Hunter Biden’s iCloud account as texts and iPhone photos were found too.
