dolphin as in the mammal dolphin? Isn't they're like very big animal? One should be enough for a very long time?
Yea, latest track has shifted yet again westward but Irma has now just got MASSIVE!, Christ, this thing is 400 miles wide!. I'll have to check local forecast's in a bit, but I already know the Northeast quadrant always spawns the most tornado's and the entire state will get an epic drenching. I just read that Napels has just ordered mandatory evacuations.I'm in St.Pete. Probably staying, might goto my in-laws house in Largo.
Newest track is real bad news for the Gulf side of FL.
Jose's track models do not have it heading to the US mainland.Irma is going to cause massive damage. Probably more that we could even imagine.
Wait until Jose comes around. That got upgraded to a category 4.
TBO, even if it's not too bad on the east coast I just can't see the grid holding up to the amount of punishment Irma is about to dole out.
Yea, but they are still telling us here on the east coast we're far from out of the woods due to this storm's enormous size. I'm getting conflicting information, some say "prepare for a major hurricane but with winds not quite as high" to "Daytona will still see 120MPH wind gust's".. Kinda irrelevant for me since I've already boarded up and have emergency supplies+ a genny with around 45 gallons of gas. TBO, even if it's not too bad on the east coast I just can't see the grid holding up to the amount of punishment Irma is about to dole out.
Yes. And I say to the people sheltered at my houseYou're a good man. Your neighbors are either insane or idiotic, but you're a good man.
We are humbled by your generosity and enriched by your wisdom, Outstanding Leader.Yes. And I say to the people sheltered at my house
2am ET update: Still a Cat 5, skirting Cuba. Even if it doesn't make landfall proper, running parallel to Cuba means that pretty much the entire country gets scraped by the southern half of a very large storm. So there's undoubtedly going to be some major damage.
I don't have the exact numbers. But we've had numerous large hurricanes before. So I doubt Irma is the largest.Yeah, they are screwed. Has there ever been a hurricane this big in circumference in the Atlantic?
Well, thing is, if it stays a tad offshore then it will still have some part over the warm gulf. If this track turns out Atlanta will get a cat 1 or possibly 2 winds plus a shi*-ton of rain. This will be really interesting! Especially once it gets to Atlanta!
