Yeah, sissies
Is that picture supposed to be scary?
Are you really that inexperienced with hurricanes?
Yeah, sissies
OK, now the worst rain is in Winchester and moving away.
NOVA seems to have avoided the heavy precipitation.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ELSE!
Over 50,000 without power in MA, I'm guessing it's worse elsewhere. And it's only going to get worse.
Quit hyping. Tens or hundreds of thousands or millions out of power is nothing but hype.
what does San Diego know about weather? You notherners and your thuper special snowflake hurricane.
what does San Diego know about weather?
It is hype. 50k != millions
OF COURSE THERE WILL BE POWER OUTAGES. THIS IS A HURRICANE GUYS.
You notherners and your thuper special snowflake hurricane.
Nothing. They do know about earthquakes though.
P.S. I recently moved to San Diego. Before that, I lived in Louisiana for 18 years.
These two environments have given me sensitivity to when northerners whine about hurricanes and earthquakes.

But see a snow flake and you cower like a scared child.
Yeah, as I said, I've been through 3 hurricanes in FL. I lived in MN for 21 years having 2 tornadoes hit my home town. I was here for the 91 holloween blizzard (am back now) and I was in NYC for Irene and the year before for 3 18"+ snowfalls, including flying from O'Hare to LGA during the day-after Christmas blizzard (landing in LGA was fun!). I was also in the top of the Empire State Building when the East Coast blackout hit and was stuck in NYC without power for a few days.
I've seen quite a bit. I lived in NYC and know how fragile the infrastructure is. This isn't blown out of proportion. I wouldn't doubt over a million are without power by tomorrow morning. The NYC MSA is what, 8mm people in it? That's double LA's entire population. That's not even including most of NJ and the N/E.
You have no concept.
I might be near you, actually. Where are you at?
The number is now over 90K without power in MA.
Well I think this part of NE where I am is considered somerton. I realize this isnt much compared to what's in NJ.
Just heard from someone that Philly is imposing a curfew; no one allowed out on the streets unless you work somewhere that gives you a CEAS card.
I am looking out the hotel window at the ParxI might be near you, actually. Where are you at?
