I wouldn't fuck around with trees/limbs with winds that high. Plenty of people have been seriously hurt or killed by a limb or tree falling on them.

there's something to say for row houses... my sister (who lives 3 miles away from me) bugged out and left with her kids to go stay at my parents' house for the night because the wind was scaring her.

meanwhile, I'm barely feeling the wind at all thanks to the houses to my north/south shielding me (with our 3' of alleyway between us)

same here, except for the cigar - I was enjoying a Corona.

my daughter lost power several hours ago, ex-husband's power is out, my current BF had a tree fall on his driveway - his car wasn't parked there - but his power is out. Son was at work at IHop, power went out about half an hour ago so they closed . Large tree limb fell onto Rt. 17 in front of him as he drove home, he's fine.

Internet is still working, my TV isn't. Watching the winds and the trees is interesting. Assume power will go out soon.

Still have power in Wood Ridge, had a few hits but nothing permanent thus far. The wind is pretty nuts though I'm not sure my fence is going to survive this. It's getting quite a bit of range on its swings and the wind is still increasing.
