1:45 AM EDT: More than 10 houses are on fire in Breezy Point, Queens and the western end of the Rockaway peninsula, according to the FDNY. The FDNY has more than 100 firefighters on the scene but are having trouble reaching the fires because of the flooding. No reports of any injuries at this time.

PPL puts just under 400k without power now in the PA sphere, most clustered around Lehigh county. Mine has probably gone out five times today but never more than a couple seconds. Sandy's still lumbering by but now it's just gonna be a long rainstorm into late tomorrow for here. Still not sure if I'll have to work tomorrow.
