With legal software, show me!

With a case which has 6 USB 2.0 ports, a system which is nice and QUIET and comes with 24/7 tech support for 1 year.

Show me.

I can build one too, as a matter of fact all of my PC's have been home-built, until the most recent Dell deal with the free LCD. But that deal was just too good to turn down, then add the time-savings, legal software, tech support, PLUS, so nice and quiet! I don't think I will be wasting my time building another PC for a while with prices like these. Tweaking, upgrading, maybe, but no more building for me... at least until it is cost effective again...

I totally agree. But, for us real overclockers these systems just won't cut it. Nonetheless, these Dells would be great for small businesses or for users who do not need extreme hardware. They'll also be great for reselling in your local paper too

Unless you get one with that 1.8Ghz processor that nearly overclocked to 3.6 on stock cooling Dimension 2300 I think...

Of course, you have to use a different motherboard.

And the shipping from Newegg for all that is????????? I'd hazard a guess and put it around $50 or so. Really starts to make these Dell deals look good. And the keyboards and mice from Dell are worth more than those $5 loss leaders from Newegg.

I've got to totally agree with RoyBoy81. My sister got in on the Dell 4500 deal in September and I was very impressed by her machine. When the 4550 deal with LCD came up in October I sat on the fence forever as to whether I should go for it. I ultimately decided not to, figuring Dell would have at least one more great deal (and probably better) before Xmas shopping season started. Looks like I guessed wrong.

At this point, I'll probably wait until the post-Xmas slump. But odds are great I will end up with a Dell 4550. I'm trying to set up an audiophile quality quiet computer that can game too-and these Dells are so quiet its amazing.

Actually that gives me an idea, I've recently been thinking my server at home was noisey.... maybe I'll get a 4550 to replace it. I got a Dim. 4500 in late July with 2.26 GHz P4 and love it.
