Ones I bought are have a red label saying up to 40x max...that sticker is covering what was originally on the blue label which is 16x-24x. The receipt at best buy prints out 16x spindle hehe.

I filled out the myrewards.info form. We'll see how fast it comes in.

Those 16X cdrs are the old packaging. But they're all the EXACT SAME DISCS. My best buy had both the old packages rated 16x and the new packages rated 48x. Same UPC code on both.

(And, like I said, I'm burning them at 52x...)

"how many" depends. The Best Buy receipt says limit 1 rebate. But the fuji site says 3 rebates per offer per address. Or maybe even 4, I can't remember.

Fuji not only has the best cdr's for the money their rebates are one of the fastest.
I've done 8 Fuji rebates this year and only one of them has taken longer than a month.

How many rebates will they take at once? Can I buy three and send out three rebates?

I'd be pretty confident in getting multiple rebates. Again: Best Buy has NOTHING to do with the payout of this rebate. Fuji's rules say 5 per address, so I'd think you could get 5.

I have Ricoh brand CD-R's that say platinum on them and says the data should last 200 years.

When the people on this board talk about the data lasting on a CD, I'm trying to get a sense of what causes the data to be lost. I mean do you need to use the disk constantly like a game, to generate heat and wreak the data. I have CD-R's of various brands, none have lost the data over several years.

I have lost alot of data from CD-RW's though.
