My order went through...but when I got my confirmation email, it said "out of stock". Darn!

Shipping was $4.95 on $27 worth of stuff. That means 27 items for $.98 each. It took at least an hour to go thru it all but I think it was worth it.

Beware of using First USA Visa card at Amazon. They (First Usa) have a automatic security feature that locks the account after 10 consecutive purchases at same place. And when you call to unlock, it will lock up again once Amazon tries to ship 10 more items.

Amazon doesn't just charge one time but rather multiple times for each shipped package.

And the bad thing is that after speaking with several csr's they say they can't change credit card for that order for another 24 hrs or so.

I guess they will be scraping the barrel by the time they get my credit info fixed and I'll be getting a lot of those out of stock emails.

A lot of folks are getting stuff cancelled. Pretty darn curious if you ask me.

I have had about 75% of my stuff cancelled. I noticed some folks over at fatwallet too. I think I'll go check out the MC forum to see if the ladies are having a lot of cancelled orders.

Yea, I just saw a thread over there about cancelled Amazon orders. I think they screwed up again and are just trying to save as much money as possible by not honoring all the orders.

My opinion is definitely changing about Amazon (for the worse).

Wasn't this a Blowout/Clearance Sale that was was posted over 3 days ago?
Limited quantities and getting hammered from several Forums 'may' have contributed to items being sold out.

I was in very early on this deal. You would think I would have had that kind of success, beats me!

But one thing I don't understand is how they can screw up on inventory. When you go thru checkout it should lower the inventory by that amount. They obviously have serious inventory/database probs or their supplier either backed out of the deal or lied to Amazon. (someone at fatwallet said the CSR told them it was a supplier prob?)

Nothing life or death! Gotta move on and find that next good deal.
