Hydravision Expert, Pls come in

Hi, guys, I recently got a 7500 with twin view fanctionality. And I have 2 monitors, one works at 1600X1200@85Hz, the other works at 800X600 @75hz.
I have 2 problem here.
1. I want to display the same desktop on 2 monitors, but whatever I do, there is only part of the desktop on the smaller monitor. the point is I want to display the same full size picture on two monitors at different resolution.
2. I want to play DVD video on the bigger monitor while i am working on my word file on my smaller monitor. any one know how to do it?

What operating system are you using? This won't be possible in Windows 2000, until Ati fixes their drivers.

Funny u should post this, i was gonna post it just now. Im using xp and my question is about a second tv instead of a monitor. I want to have it full screen so i can watch sopranos on one and work on the other.

1. You can display the same desktop on 2 monitors, but not at different resolutions. If you think about it, that's not physically possible. Your desktop is a function of the screen resolution you're running at--how can you duplicate that at a different resolution? Impossible. So to do it, both screens must be running the same resolution.

2. Not sure if that's possible with hydravision. Hope someone who's used it can comment. I know that Matrox's DualHead has this capability.

thank you guys. I am not thinking about it anymore, since I am not going to buy a new monitor. any way, It is a waste of money on this damn hydrovision
