I said I wasn't going to participate in this GPU generation (to myself) but, I am getting an itch with the 9070XT for some reason.
I am glad I didn't get a NVidia 5000 series (missing rops, burning cables, etc.)
I understand everyone says DLSS and RT, and whatever else (and I am sure there are some who use CUDA cores for more than gaming)
It has been a while since I mained (WoW reference) an AMD card.
I play at 1440p, with Medium to High settings based upon the game I am playing.
I also split time dual booting with Linux, and while I have no issue getting the 4070 under Linux, I am tired of the closed drivers, and slower Linux development that I am given.
Anyone like me? Using an AMD 7900XT or such that doesn't care about DLSS, Upscaling, or Raytracing? That thinks most Video Games at Medium and High (Ultra is too loud) is more than adequate for recreational gaming?
Anyone have any more information on this current 9070 line from AMD ?
Danke!
