Anyone highly skilled with Hyper-V? im trying to setup virtual machines and had a couple questions setting up multiple keyboards and mice. Im pretty new to the hyper-v so any help would be appreciated.

I'm a bit confused by the question. I have setup a max pool of 30 desktops using hyper-v with two clustered host and a SAN box. What's the question?

Hyper-V is crap, use a real virtualization product like ESXi, where you can technically do this weird thing.

Hmm, I have two Hyper-V R2 clusters and I would have to say it is definetly not "crap". So far my uptime is only limited to how often I want to install security updates (around once a month). Works great for me, since I can shut any of the host machines down at any given time with no downtime perceived by the end user.

im looking for something that will take a single pc run 6 monitors each with their own desktop and a mouse and be able to run IE or firefox so each person can view art work individually from each monitor.

Not gonna happen, cheaper and easier just to buy 6 PCs.

Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 might do you want, although you'll still need a thin client. It's marketed toward education, but I don't see any reason (licensing or otherwise) why you couldn't use it for corporate use.

Neither Windows or Hyper-V were meant to do that, so I doubt you'll be able to get it working. What you're talking about sounds pretty simple with X in Linux, although I've never done it and you'd need 6 monitor ports to get 6 X sessions going at once.

Agreed, you are looking for some software that can do terminal sessions, not virtualization.
