According to Nevada state law, a counties population has to be under a certain number to have legal prostitution, so the counties that hold Vegas and Reno cant have it.Originally posted by: oldsmoboat
Can you recommend a hooker there?Originally posted by: EagleKeeper

hookers are not legal in vegas county, I would pay for my hotel and hold on to enough for food then bet the rest on black, regardless of the outcome I would spend the rest of my stay cheaply.Originally posted by: compuwiz1
Well, what if a a guy had $2500, a trip to Vegas, etc., would you lose the money, or would you profit?
If profit, please explain how you would beat the house.
No hookers. Just put that in the thread title to make it interesting.
Wish I could take such a trip. This thought was spawned by a couple co-workers, I overheard talking.
There is no Vegas county.
Las Vegas is in Clark County.
Also, prostitution is illegal up in Reno and its county and one other county as well.
You can hop over to Pahrump (Nye county) for some legal action though (45-50 mile drive).

Lewis Black has a line about Vegas... He says he likes to get a couple of rolls of quarters, then flush them, one-by-one, down the hotel toilet. Every so often the toilet backs up and he feels like a winner!
Take your $2500 and spin it on Red or Black in roulette... ~48% chance of winning.
That really is probably the best odds you will get in the casino.

I would play poker and profit because casino players are incredibly soft.

There's no such thing as a "hot table." That's almost as dumb as thinking you should bet on black on roulette because the sign says the last 8 hits were on black.

Oh yes there is. Craps is streaky and when it gets hot it gets SMOKING and you can turn 500 into 5000 in a matter of minutes.
I honestly think I would come out ahead a few grand. Everytime I've been to vegas I've walked away with 3-7 thousand of their money.
