The monitor is great quality. I have one and the analog input is almost as good as DVI coming out of an old Geforce 3 Ti200. The quality may depend on your video card's analog conversion circuitry. Auto-adjust works well to fill up the screen with picture. I got mine for 279 AR last September, so this is a good deal.

I picked up some (3) Hyundai LCDs via a deal here quite some time ago. Mine had DVI (and VGA) and looked great. Still have one at home.
Edit from home, mine were L70a models.

I've got mine setup on a Geforce 3 TI500. Works great. I tired it out on Halo and couldn't see any ghosting at all.

This is the exact same model I have here at work. We have about 4 of them in our offices. They are pretty good. No real complaints. Than again they aren't the best of the best either. I'll pick my ViewSonic LCD at home any day of the week, WHICH by the way is also on sale at FRYS for 299.99 after rebate

I agree. There are better/clearer, but hard to beat this for the budget minded buyer.

Ordered mine from Outpost Monday at 8:20PM ($288 including regular ground shipping) and it was delivered Wed at 9:30AM! Crazy fast shipping, made me glad I didn't spring the extra $12 or so for 2nd day.

Cabled it all in, turned it on, hit the "auto" picture button, manually adjusted the brightness down a hair, and it looks great...no dead pixels either.

It's in the Friday, August 13 LA Times ad. Prices good through Tuesday. While Outpost.com is a great deal for $279, pick it up at B&M from the parent company Fry's and save on the shipping.

I just received mine and I have two questions.

1) The power cord that was included in the box does not fit the standard US outlet. It has two round prongs like the ones in asia or europe i think. Did anyone else receive this cord or receive the correct one that fits the outlet?

2) There is a dead pixel towards the middle/right of the screen. Does anyone know Hyundai's policy on dead pixels? I called outpost.com and they don't have any more in stock so can't do an exchange for me. The girl i was talking to kept on asking if i wanted to do a return, and she seemed like she didn't even know what a dead pixel was.....anyways.... What would happen if I just used this monitor? Will the dead pixel "grow" or anything like that?

Thanks.

1. Mine came with a proper "US" 3 prong power cord

2. According to a thread on FatWallet, Hyundai will replace your monitor if it has 3 or more dead pixels, but it wouldn't hurt to call and check for yourself. And no...just because you have one dead pixel doesn't mean it'll spread or grow to more dead pixels in the future.

Word of caution folks: These monitors have some problems with handling invalid video frequencies. I had 2 monitors that were busted and had to be returned. One way I can tell you on how to bust it is, boot linux and run xscreensaver in cycle mode. When one of the several screensavers tries to set unsupported video mode, your monitor is f**ked up. From that point onwards, when your monitor would simply flash the desktop and go blank everytime you turn on your monitor. I returned mine and settled for a CRT. Good luck.

I have two of these monitors and they are VERY high quality. No dead pixels in either of them, bright screen...best deal out there!

The built in speakers are crappy however (sound like something you'd find on an AM radio).
