That wasn't the point. It could be worthless for all I care, but richecker was calling the store useless when he's sitting there providing reviews that have nothing to do with THIS monitor.

Video playback shouldn't be a problem although I haven't tested mine yet - should be here in a few days. Even for 25ms screens, playing a video is not too stressful to the system.

Keep in mind though, this screen uses TN+Film technology so the viewing angles are not that great. It should be fine if you are sitting in front of the monitor but if you are going to use it like a TV, you might be disappointed.

Hey did u guys know that they have stopped charging a restocking fee for returns???

Plus they accept returns with even a single dead pixel.

So for those not sure if dithering will make a difference you can try it out and return without cost if you do not like the monitor

i knew about the restocking fee, but i didnt kno about the 1 dead pixel thing, that's good to know. To return it, do they pay for return shipping or do u?

btw i jumped on this, now it's just a slow slow slow wait for it to get here with the ground shipping

Anyone know why

Manufacturer: Hyundai

Mfg Part #: L90D

Product Number: 50999292

And not L90D+?

Anyways, anyone know if online purchases are returnable instore? Seems like a good deal; I don't think there are any other comparable monitors out there, save the ViewSonic one.

Thanks.

Video playback looks great. I viewed Matrix - Reloaded and LOTR - Return of the King on it. Too busy playing CS:Source and looking at pR0n (J/K) to watch anything else on it. I can't wait to get my second one in so I can play CS with 2 monitors (Just doesn't look right on a 19" LCD and a 42" Plasma) of the same make and size. It does come with both VGA and DVI cables along w/ audio cables. I actually almost bought another to have 3, but I don't have a need for that many.

Is the screen size the same as a 19" CRT and how is the screen for glare? I have a window right behind my desk and I get alot of glare of of my CRT and was wondering how this unit is?

A 19" lcd will usually be about 1" bigger then a 19" crt. The screen is semi glossy, its far from being a mirror but a bright window may give you some glare.

Tax and lack of 16.7m true-color make this warm at best.

I'll wait for a deal on a 16ms genuine 24-bit Panel...

They say the dithering isn't really noticeable. Really, being 6-bit doesn't seem to make much of a difference compared to being 8-bit, especially since it lets you get 8ms reponse times. This is a good price for a quality 19" LCD (Samsung panel, with DVI cable) AND apparently you can return it if it has 1 dead pixel (or maybe only 1 dead pixel allowed). Seems like an awesome deal to me.

Anyone else notice the shipping time went from 1-2 days to 7-10? I surely won't be waiting two weeks for this thing to just ship out...

Can anyone pretty please look up the input power requirements for me? Is it just 110V or does it support 220V as well?

Also a dumb question, assuming I have HDTV tuner card , can I watch HDTV on this one?

Haven't got mine yet. Ordered yesterday (02/07/05) before 12noon. It still says OPEN as status. I hope nothing is wrong.

*edit time of purchase, as CSR claimed that Monday counted towards the 1-2 day shipping time

Hmm, still no movement. Status is still "Open". I called CSR at CrapUsa and they told me that they place these orders to an "outside" warehouse and that the order has been placed with them. They don't carry the product, and are just the re-seller for the "outside" warehouse. They couldn't eventell me how many they had in stock. She hung up on me when I asked about a rain check. =) (phone PROBABLY got disconnected)
