8.5 minute wait on hold this time. ok, so i hear from "ashley" this time. they have 3-6 days from the day of your order to FIND OUT if the item is in stock.

here's the science:
CompUsa orders "xxx" number of these units from "outside company A", "outside company A" then has 3-6 days to ship them to CompUsa's warehouse. This is when we figure out if we've been hosed or not, cause they will then know if they have enough in stock and/or if it's the correct model. Then CompUsa ships them out to us. This is what I got from "Ashley" in CSR at CompUsa. Apparantly, CompUsa has already sold the "xxx" number of units they ordered from "outside company A", and that is why it is no longer on sale on their website.

I hope someone actually did their homework somewhere along the line and made sure they got the CORRECT product, ie the "+" model.

OH, and Ashley was VERY rude and sternly suggested that CompUsa is not to be bothered again until the 3-6 day window has passed. =/ *** I wonder if they keep a record of calls about an order? Maybe that's why she was annoyed with me? ***

This thread should be renamed "Rumors Gone Wild". We have conflicting replies from their clueless CSRs and someone over at chuubywallet claiming that orders are being canceled. Other than those that have had their orders canceled because they tried to have it shipped to an address that was not listed with their cc company as a secondary billing address has anyone else had their order canceled? Until someone actually gets one of these from CompUSA no one knows with 100% certainty whether it's the L90D or L90D+.

They were back in stock at 6 am this morning with a ship time of 3 - 6 days, N/A now. Here's the link again if anyone is interested.

Seriously tho, who would still buy from TD? That's a risk I'm not ready to take. CompUsa and Outpost gonna join TD in my doghouse soon... if things don't work out.

i submitted an order to TigerDirect yesterday, via Amazon.com... Figured that CompUSA wouldn't know what was going on until a month from now. However, I now go out to the TD site and see that L90D+ is no longer available from them. It's also not in stock at the amazon site.

Why do I have the feeling that I'm going to get a cancellation notice? will be surprised if this thing gets shipped to me.

I also notice that PriceGrabber no longer shows eBuyer as a possible source. Have the feeling that N.A. inventory on this item is done. Have to wait for the slow boat from Korea before I can pull the trigger (again).

I got my order confirmed by Ashley at CompUSA... she said my lcd was shipped out on 2/10 after I placed the order on 2/7/2005 9:17:52 AM with a 1-2 day ship time originally. So I will let everyone know when I get the monitor if they spit on it since I was a nag.

I will also post about image quality etc vs a Samsung 910T that my brother in law has.

This time spoke with "Latisha" at CompUsa. She was a lot more helpful than the previous CSR. She claims everything is fine, there was just a mishap with the warehouses. No orders have been cancelled, and she claimed that they were the "+" model. She also claimed that I should have this thing sometime next week. I ordered on Monday, the 7th in the morning. bfulford7 shouldn't have got his shipped before mine? maybe he complained more than i did =) not possible.

I just got notified that TD just shipped mine. Should get it on 2/14 and will post a review if it's worth the $$... fingers crossed that there aren't any dead pixels, otherwise I'm gonna be pissed. BTW, Hyundai considers more than 3 pixels (white spot or black spot) to be a defective monitor (per BeHardware). 9 sub pixels (9 red, green, or blue) constitutes defect, too

Ended up paying about $20 more than at CompUSA, but at least it's getting shipped to me and I don't have to worry about it being the older model.

I ordered mine Sunday evening from comp....I haven't recieved any emails except for the 2 that confirmed the order.....status is still open......I think we're gonna get the plus version from Comp....... All the orders would have been cancelled by now if they didn't think they could come through.......probably just a matter of waiting for the outside vendor to deliver...... keeping my fingers crossed......

Well, as I said on the other thread, I got a mail from CompUSA saying that they were shipping the L90D and not the L90D+. I told them to cancel if it was the L90D, and hence it was cancelled

I just called and the CSR said my monitor has shipped. They will email me the Fedex tracking # shortly. I ordered a few minutes after the OP had posted on the 6th.

Ha Ha. FedEx just delivered mine. It's a L90D+. It's supposed to be by ground delivery but it came by Air service. Woo Hoo!

Holy $h!t Batman!

I ordered mine on 2/8/04. Every day since, my status page only showed it as "Open". When I got home today, I was shocked to see an LCD box outside my door. It is indeed the L90D+. I can't believe I'm saying this, but CompUSA really came through on this one. I'll try it out tonight and report back on my overall experience with the quality of this thing.

Ordered mine on Sunday the 6th late at night... came home today to find the L90D+ at home . Order status was still listed as 'Open' on order status page. Good luck to those who haven't gotten in on the deal... and thx to the OP
