Guess China knows what to use in the tariff fight for leverage now though amiright?

Trump has mad himself so vulnerable on so many fronts that the Chinese don't have to give up much of anything. I think they're mostly going to wait him out since he is in an increasingly precarious political position. There may be some token relief in the name of negotiating "good will" but I think they'll mostly stand pat.

Now? He asked the Russians to hack Hillary in 2016 on TV

He wasn't president at the time.

Now immoral, unpatriotic, or even illegal if they tried to get them to do it/received such info...

Cheney>?? The man who so=hot himself in the foot? A walking time bomb waiting to happen!!

Cheney didn't shoot himself in the foot. He shot his friend in the face. And no, it absolutely was not an accident.

Yeah, see the previous republican presidents.

I think Trump is still worse, no? Or I guess compared to previous rate--Reagan is still the worst?

Anyway, repub presidents are progressively worse and worse with the deficit, so I think the more accurate response is "see the next republican president." Obviously, supporters will vote for exactly that because they want it. Simple honest evaluation of facts informs anyone that this is all republican administrations do.

This fucking buffoon is making the entire GOP look like a bunch of dickless assholes. Not that they don't already but Jesus Christ.

It looks like it was really easy to get Trump to crime just by asking him a simple, very easy-to-answer question. ...the answer was obvious for someone in his situation, but he didn't go with it. He went with the "yes to crime!" option. That's impressive.

Let that be a lesson to all journalists out there, the POTUS is currently engaging in a seasonal sale of impeachable crimes! Just ask him a simple question under the format "[Obvious Crime]: yes or no?," and it's pretty clear that he is going to crime himself for everyone's entertainment! It's like a POTUS BOGO on the criming this week!

Haven’t just paid the President to resign.
I used to think give him & them cover like “How Don the greatest biggest builder ever”
We need a condo project done, 12 year contract 10 Billion when you are done, we’ll front you 100 million per year. We need you to be fully involved so no interviews or tweeting please.

Now I think they should just quit pro quo it, tell him 12 Billion sent to you provided you give us a pardon before you leave office. First 100 million payment begins today, payments stop the instant you go on a news show or tweet something after (whatever) date.

And economically, how has Trump done anything good? He blew up the deficit massively for tax breaks to already very wealthy people. Is that what you voted for?

How would another 4 yrs of Trump be better than anything Bernie does (at least he has a plan to pay for some of the stuff he promised)? And at least Bernie isn't compromised in the way Trump is.

The mental gymnastics to claim Bernie would be worse than Trump is gold medal worthy.

Just because one is bad doesn’t mean the other can’t be worse

Have been for quite a while actually but the whole soliciting foreign governments to help him out politically is swampy as hell. Won’t be voting for him in 2020. Whether I’ll be voting Dem or not depends on who they run. I’d love to cast a vote for Mayor Pete. If Bernie is the nominee it may even push me back to hold my nose and vote Trump lol. Trump came in and wrecked shop which was what I wanted, but he’s done too much that I disagree with and especially the revelations about soliciting the help of foreign governments to help his campaign that I said screw it I’m off, he’s just another politician now.

I hate DC so much.
Look, he's not just another politician, he's more a politician than the great majority of politicians. He's a caricature of the self interested, pompous, throw his weight around blowhard. You intensely dislike Bernie, but if it's him and Bernie, you should vote for Bernie. But it won't be Bernie, so no worries.

Trump truly doesn't think he's done anything wrong. I'm not sure he's capable of thinking he's done anything wrong. Ever.

If you will be voting for any other candidate other than whoever the Democrat front runner is, then you are not off the trump train. You can justify not voting for trump or whatever Democrat candidate we get but if you aren't voting for the Democrat then you are essentially voting for trump. 2020, like 2016 is a binary election and denying this is just you kidding yourself.

I didn’t vote for Trump and am not a fan of his whatsoever. However I vehemently disagree with what @ivwshane said. People should vote for the person that they think is the best candidate, period. If the Democrats nominate someone that’s worse than the libertarian or Green party or anybody else the Green or Libertarian deserve your vote. If my single vote leads to Trump being reelected because of that then so be it. The job of the Democrats is not to just nominate someone better than Trump, that’s the lowest bar to climb ever ever in the history of mankind. And honestly if you can’t nominate someone better than the greens then you don’t deserve to be elected.

If you think trump is the worst of the worst and a threat to our democracy then voting for anyone else but the trump opponent who has the best chance of beating him, then you are complicit in trumps re-election. Your principals and policies don’t mean shit when our democracy is at stake.

I see you learned nothing from 2016.

Hmm... voting for who you like got us trump in 2016 and you are telling me voting for who you like in 2020 won’t get us trump? That’s some solid logic right there.

Not everyone has unabashed partisan goals like you and want the best candidate instead of “won’t get us Trump”. If “vote D else Trump” is your pitch again in 2020 like it was on 2016 you deserve to lose again. That “line of reason” [sarcasm] just does not appeal to persuadable voters. Luckily for your side no one running this time is remotely as unfavorably viewed as Clinton was last time.

I suspect people will be more averse to letting the worst candidate win this time around. Jill Stein voters in 3 states threw the election to Trump in 2016. I'm sure they believed Clinton would win anyway, without their votes.

And yet we still have the person viewed even less favorably than Clinton still running and your logic is vote with your heart.
I’m not sure how voting for anyone other than for the person who will help elect the most incompetent and corrupt president in history, who has violated the constitution in plain site, can be viewed as pursuing “partisan goals” but like I said, that’s some mighty fine logic you got there.

The best part is the dude apologized TO Cheney over the ordeal too! I could see Cheney having beef with the guy prior and thinking to himself "I'm going to shoot you in the face and then make you apologize to ME!".

I may not vote republican but at least with Bush we had a somewhat functional government, with trump we don't, what we have is a government that is intent on burning itself down.

In the classic "careful what you wish for", the burn it down crowd thought it would just be the libtard cucks who felt the burn. In electing a dotard like Trump, they're effectively burning down their own party.

Imagine what their party could have accomplished in 2 years of control if they elected someone who gubberminted before and knew the ropes. But nope, lol... McConnell got is SCOTUS seats, tax cuts for the wealthy, so winning.
