I <3 Famous Dave's new Burnt Ends

Basically all the end pieces that fall off BBQ during the smoking process are gathered and you have a new main dish. I had the 2 meat platter, Southside Rib Tips & Burnt Ends. Was suuuuuuper. And Pineapple Rage has to be a contender for one of the most delicious sauces ever created. Some pieces were mostly fat, but some were pure meat, a lot that nice lil crunch to them.

I'm sure they're not the 1st BBQ joint to do this, but Burnt Ends is a fucking genius idea.

Heh..I discovered those too. When I barbeque, the rib ends and the beef tips are always my favorite. They found a way to capitalize on it

Famous Daves...meh (of course I'm spoiled because I'm in Kansas City). But usually Burnt ends don't "fall off" they are trimmed off and then put back in the smoker for another 6+ hours.

burnt ends is a horrible idea too. take the best part of the brisket, drown it in sugar, and then overcook it. must hate beef.

I cannot eat at Famous Dave's anymore. The meat is not even cooked on site. It is warmed up fast food and it taste like it. The only thing I liked on the menu was the salmon appetizer but they took it off the menu 6 months ago.

I can cook a better brisket and pork shoulder than they sell in the restaurant.

False, I've been in their kitchen and they definitely use smokers to cook the ribs.

Um they're not brisket or beef, I eat BBQ not that shit they call BBQ in Texas. It's Pork or nothing for me. I'm sure Brisket Burnt Ends would suck, but that's only because Brisket sucks.
