So i just decided to check Ali G out this morning after he made the front page of the Drudge report for being banned from any whitehouse press sessions. Google has plenty of Ali G videos and little did i know i would be rotfl and a half hour late for work this morning after quickily becoming hooked on these clips. Normally i don't like to see people put on the spot but he goes about it in such hilarious fashion. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't heard of him at this point to check him out.
I have the feeling that he won't last long however because either a: he'll become hugely popular and no longer be able to find guests who don't know him or b:he'll be murdered by one of his audience members after rubbing them the wrong way.

At any rate...i'm lov'in it. This guy is the bomb...

Probably. One of the reasons the show came to the US was to avoid the publicity in the UK which made it difficult to obtain interviews.

The whole idea is that he is a wannabe, so takes on the affectations that he (wrongly) believes will make him 'black'. There in lies the humour, but it sailed right over your head because you'd rather act offended.

He's putting himself at risk from not only the stereotypical anti-semitic cowboy who takes offense at being mocked but also from the individual who isn't anti-semitic, who doesn't get the joke, and whom might become extremely offended. Quite brazen and he's taking some serious risks imo.
