But yeah, I get what you mean. I volunteer at the cable access station and we have a lady there a bit like that. She has cerebral palsy. Highly functioning but a bit slow and off the wall. she has some form of mental disability, what it is I don't know. Its not ASD. She is high functioning but it is obvious she is mentally impaired.

Serious response: Claiming sexual harassment and getting your boss or HR department involved should be your very last resort. It's like saying you are too immature to handle a flirty customer. Save the sexual harassment claims for the real thing.

Sit her down right in the dining room, where everyone can see that you are keeping your hands to yourself, and explain that you are in a committed relationship and need her to keep the conversation polite so the customers aren't offended. Be polite and firm, but not mean.

Don't let this affect the way you treat her when she is in the store. Treat her as politely as you would any customer. If she continues to hit on you then you can talk to your boss about asking her to not to come back.

This - should anything happen; the fact that she is challenged will be held against you.

She can make up a story after being scorned (even though it is not intended) and she may not even realize that it is made up.

Keep your distance. If not possible; avoid any extra communication with her and always have someone with you as evidentiary backup.
