I Am Done With Newegg

I jsut bought a Tuniq 3 case on Newegg, NEW of course.

It came missing all screws, the front had dirt in it, and was thoroughly scratched, and all of the screws were missing.

You can even see where a motherboard was installed at some point, and the fan bar has rust.

Has anyone had the same problem?

I'm on hold with Newegg as we speak.

Been using Newegg since they first opened & never had anything like that happen to me .... thats not to say I havn't had some issues over the years but their customer-service is terrific & has resolved every one to my satisfaction.

Well, seeing as you are so clearly and adamantly DONE with them, what incentive do they have to try and satisfy you as a customer now?

Shit happens. Give them a chance to fix their mistake before you write them off because based on the satisfaction AT seems to have with them, YOU will be the one losing out. They've always gone above and beyond to fix situations. I'm quite confident in saying that you've probably F'ed up a few times in your life and people gave you a second chance.

Of course, this could also seem like the classic..

Step 1: Order replacement for case you previously owned and destroyed
Step 2: Swap out old case for new, claim you received the old case instead
Step 3: Post complaints on forums to gather fake support.
Step 4: ...
Step 5: TWO new cases for the price of one... or get pwnt

Lately I've stopped ordering from Newegg. Higher prices... and I had an issue like the OP described. Ordered a mouse... got it in opened packaging, dirty fingerprints on mouse. Mouse worked for approximately 3 hours before dying.

I had to RMA it for replacement and of course had to pay return shipping (it gets old when you do it often)... only other RMAs I've ever done in my life: a GF4 Ti4200 to Gainward (bad caps) and a TI-83+ Silver to Texas Instruments.

And yet, with Newegg I've had no less than 7 RMAs. I don't know why I get hit with hardware failure a lot with Newegg but (almost) no one else...

Instead it was filled with buyer's remorse, was missing all the screws, and covered in flamebait!!

You can even see parts where it repeats itself and has no real point!

Did anyone else notice this?

I'm on hold for an answer.

I love newegg. UPS delivered my Antec Sonata III to the wrong house and newegg was going to send me a brand new one free of charge and free shipping. I ended up telling newegg thanks but never mind when someone from a street down brought it to my door. Like Ness said, crap happens. Give newegg a chance and I'm sure they'll make it right.

Hmmm, let me word my answer in your speech format.

I very very rarely have a problem with new egg, and when I do they always have made amends to fix the problem. I am still very happy with their service and very very rarely have a problem with new egg.

OP you should give them a break, sometimes placed make mistakes. And OP you should give them a break.
