EDIT: Paulson, the whole point in life is trying to be more than you are - otherwise you're stagnant, boring, and have nothing to look forward to. Why would someone want to kick someone else down at all? The only people threatened by someone else's success is someone who feels like they're not accomplishing all they could be. Rather than impressing anyone with how great YOU are, you just made yourself look really small and mean. Think about it.
Mday, can't you get a tutor in Algebra? I know it sucks to feel buried under everything - maybe if you picked the toughest subject and figured out how to fix that class the others would seem less stressful and your grades would come up.
