My significant other and kid have COVID. I was exposed to them every day since they got it. Including sleeping in their bed and the kid sleeping right next to me and breathing in my face. I made absolutely, positively no attempt to isolate and have been around them constantly.

They tested positive on Sunday. I tested negative Sunday evening, and just now again. I whoop COVID's ass so much it can't even get an infection going in me LOL.

You ask me if I feel like God? No, I don't feel like God. I AM God...

I think Superman would be able to take care of his trees without seeking outside assistance. You, sir, are no Superman

When it went through our house, 2/4 of us got it.

My one son who had it, had a pacifier in his mouth, and my other son took it out and put it in his mouth and he never got it.

Everyone was tested with an antigen and PCR test too.

tell your doctor. if you really never had it, and werent just asymptomatic, you could help with the research being done. that would be a real superman move.

Yea, I agree, I need to. My DNA is superior to like 99.9999999999999999999999% of people's DNA on Earth. Maybe that should actually be 100%. I'm definitely not just asymptomatic, my tests come back 100% negative. My DNA destroys it as soon as comes in contact with it, DEAD immediately, it can't even get going in my body at all. Guys should want me to be impregnating their chicks so they can have little superman kids.

aren't like %75 of people asymptomatic

Maybe, but like I've said a couple times now, I'm not asymptomatic. I don't have it, period. Despite being around the kid and my significant other pretty much 24/7 and the kid sleeping right next to me and breathing it in my face LOL. You could replace half my blood with COVID virus and it would still be wiped out in just a few minutes LOL....

The only way to know for sure is to have someone try this on you.

Most people I know the same thing happened. Some in the household get it, some don't. It's a mysterious little bug.

I haven't had it either. I just got over being sick for about 1.5 weeks (after not being sick since the pandemic started), but I kept testing negative and even tested negative on a PCR test a few days after having symptoms. My parents haven't caught it either.

If there's some study where I could get paid, let me know!

I wish I had been like the OP. My bout landed me in the hospital for 3 weeks, and more than 3 months before I was fully recovered.

All i'm getting from this is washing with pube covered soap makes one immune from Covid. Then there's the old 'the cure is worse than the disease' thing.
Craving alibaba chicks(while having a significant other) is the real answer!

Same. My 10yo had it a couple months ago, was asymptomatic and none of us caught it from her. My wife and 8yo caught it at the same time last week. 8yo was asymptomatic. It kicked my wife's ass though even though she is vaxxed and boosted like me. Even the booster kicked her ass but not like this. She is coming out of it but no taste or smell yet. I keep testing negative and no symptoms even though she has been coughing nonstop for a week and a half.

Were you born in 1994? You can only be superman if you were born in 1994.

That sucks.... hope she gets better soon!

While taste/smell might not be mission-critical in the modern world in order to remain alive, for me at least cooking/eating delicious food and being able to enjoy it thoroughly is one of the few real "joys" in life.

Sense of taste/smell is one of those things you don't appreciate until its gone... my younger daughter's is STILL not right more then a year after she was sick with Covid. (although she says it's around 90% sensitivity now a lot of things still smell "off" to her)

COVID decided to suppress my pain nerves(fucked up mouth, not yet cleaned at the time for 15+years) , cough reflex, and sneezing reflex instead of my taste/smell. Basically, virus acts like lidocaine or whatever other "numbing agents" are there...no wonder there's a gazillion who don't "feel a thing".

Too bad science doesn't track "good things" when discussing symptoms. ("Fatigued anesthesia" for you people who want brevity.).
Fatty Fish and tofu are my mind's lifesavers. (not a soyboy, just man who eats soy).

FWIW, yeah, I think my mom dodged my confirmed infection even though we were in the same room plenty of times.
If she did get it, well...she didn't notice much.

I do not know if my current days of not wanting to think is due more to sleep deprivation(probable), still untreated perio(also probable), or lingering COVID symptoms. Physically, I'm sure I'm still not 100%. I tried to do a run in March...yeah, elevated heart rate for more than 24 hours. I also avoid caffiene because it does way too much for me, which sucks because I want to drink green tea....but I do feel comfortable physically when not do work, which is like it was before getting ill.

I haven't seen the movie in decades and yet when they cut before the scene with the metal shredder, I could still play the rest of it out in my head. Weird how the brain can lock something in for so long and replay it vividly when triggered
