my hubby and i decidced that it would be in my best interest to get a breast augmentation and after doing tons of research and finding an amazing doctor, i got it done today.
if any of you have wives or g/f's that considred this, talk about it, because a good doc will make them "real"!
i can say that i will have all my self confidence back! (and thats why i got this done, plus, i had to wear a wonder-bra to even fill out an extra-small shirt!
before 1
before 2
only a few hours after.
day 2. One breast is higher (which is normal) but this is the size, they will drop and fluff to get to a normal state in about a month
side view day two. no stretch marks... just marks from the bandage
they will be high and hard for a few weeks, but once they "drop and fluff" they will look natural. i like the shape of my breasts, and that will not change, just the fullness of them
edit: iamwiz82 has been a woonderful husband today especially taking care of me inbetween playing Grand Turismo and GTA:SA
EDIT: 9/20 pics will not be done until one week post op
today though i went back to work.
Each day i notice things changing. I can tell that the right breast is "dropping" and catching up with the left one. (it's a good thing)
I can feel the nerves getting back to normal because there are little spasms of pain that occure quite often. (also a good thing) but it is very painful, almost like a heart attack would feel i suppose.
I am a bit frightened beacuse when one starts off not having anything, it is quite a shock to look in the mirror and see things so big! We thnk though that they will look great and will have been well worth the pain and time it took!
EDIT 2: 9/22 At the one week mark, things have stayed the same. The right breast is higher than the left. The doc said that is normal because i am right-handed and the muscles are stronger and are having a tougher time letting go. The ace bandage is off, now i am wearing a "compression strap" to help them drop more.
I feel like i have "franken-breasts"
One week, post-op. The right side is higher still than left. thats normal.
one week post-op side... not much has changed.
you can really see the difference from one side and the other.
UPDATED 2 WEEKS: still a bit lopsided, but i am still wearing my "band" and i can tell a differnce in feeling as well.
They finally feel like part of me and not like two bags of salt water on my chest.
I just called my Dr. and he said that the lopsidedness is very typical even after two weeks.
for some women, it takes a few months to go even. I am not worried, its slowly getting in place!
side view 2 weeks
2 weeks post op still lopsided but not too bad in my neighbor-hating bathing suit.
EDIT AT 1 MONTH
I am happier than ever with everything and the way my recovery is progressing.
Things are still changing everyday but i can notice small differences all the time.
My one month Dr. appointment is coming up on Tuesday and i am looking forward to not having to wear the dreaded strap anymore (although i can tell it is helping!)
In most clothes, they look like normal perky breasts and i feel good wearing all the clothes i could not before!
Here are one month photos!
one month
"things" are still "off" but looking better!
almost there
look ma, no bra!
