On another note, yesterday I just paid my last credit card off and I'm now CREDIT CARD DEBT FREE!! Cough, sorry man. I was in your spot up to $7,000.00 a couple years ago and it took until yesterday to pay the friggers off. had 3 cards, now down to 1 - just to keep a credit reference handy.

Maybe you deserve it really, especially when running a relationship as if you're single! Forget about the spending habit (which is bad enough), but concealing the facts from her awareness?

I think it's so important to know your significant other's spending habits before committing yourself to marriage. It will become an issue suddenly if it wasn't before. There are usually signs, but people often ignore it.

She makes more than you? Now, that makes it worse 'cuz your behaviour seems ruder. Sorry, but the prospect isn't good at all . . . the only alternative is treating this as an addiction and agreeing to get help 'cuz you've really gone faaaaaaaaaaaaar. . . . However, it was medical related and I paid it off the next month.
