broly, after seeing plenty of your threads here you're constantly talking about ridicuously high end parts . . . and if i recall correctly you made your big apology bc you were stressed out about exams . . . so i'll assume you're a student. are your parents absolutely loaded? from the threads i can recall off the top of my head you have a $500 case, a 30" monitor, and 20somthing" monitor, and were wanting to perhaps buy a $1000ish desk. are you just showing off or do you really have this stuff??

if i recall correctly you refused to show pics of your current "setup" when asking for advice on a desk so people could suggest something to you.

flame me all you want, i'm just finding it difficult to believe you have all this and you've been quite a memorable character due to your little "blowup" earlier

edit: kind of an ironic thread title

Wow, you read my mind. Up for a response.

Slightly more on topic, why buy all these expensive high end parts, only to have someone else put it together? I'd say do it yourself, it's how you learn.

I guess that you must think cases like a Chenbro Xpider or Aspire with tons of flashing look good?

I really like the Thermaltake Tsunami and Soprano cases. Easy to work with, fairly attractive, and some nice features.

Come on guys - did you notice that case has freakin' WHEELS on it??? And they're color coordinated with the rest of the freakin' case??? That's so badass I don't know what else to say.

back to the ops original question. the cases are built to a spec and the m/b, gpus etc. i would assume that since it cost so much that koolance to every possible standard into account. from the pics i can not see where a card would hit the radiator as this case requires the m/b to be put in upside down.

don't take this pic i made as concrete as i don't know if the scale is correct(although i did get a couple mounting holes to line up ), and it took me about 5mins to make, but just a quick thought - Asus A8N32SLI-Delux inside your case

i don't know if that is even the correct board, i just pulled it off of newegg...

i agree. we can't just make false assumptions about him. what if he goes to a private school. if his tuition is $40k a year, maybe his parents are willing to give him $4k a year for his computer/electronic wants. you don't know so don't assume

i must have missed this entry. if your guy building the rig doesn't know the difference between a pci slot and a pci-e slot then don't let him build it. a lot of setups have the lowest pci slot blocked by something whether it be a usb/firewire expansion or something.

your 2nd card would be going into a pci-e slot, not a pci slot....your builder =

looked on newegg and they give no dimensions for the cards which is too bad since it would be a good thing to know as your shopping.

Hey guys

ANyways I will take pics of my Rig when it's back fomr the shop...

The guy said that if I install the 2nd card in PCI since the 7800 gtx takes up 2 slots he said that the 2nd one that hits hte pCIE slot at the bottom (seperated by 2 pci slots) would result in the card touching the radiator and resulting in a shock or something. I said WTF do it anyways and He refused to do it.

The reason I'm not toying with WC stuff is that the EXOs 2 is known to have fitment complications and I do not want to be caught in the middle of them.

Who the flying f*** would lie about a tv monitor and a RIG? My GOD> I will take pics when she's back to show you

If you want to flop your e-penis around here, you better expect it. I took a look at the case and then a look at the cards. You didn't give enough information or pictures to prove your point or explain the situation which just goes to show you are flaunting what you have rather than asking for help. If the "tech" doesn't want to put in the cards, then do it yourself and prove him wrong rather than playing with your e-epnis while crying about it to us. Its funny how you would need a w/c case for a computer you can't install video cards into.

I don't think that case looks that bad, kinda pricey though.

I am curious to know how the Asus board does mounted upside down. I have heard some people having problems w/ the heatpipes not working correctly and the sb/nb overheating in that configuration.

What are you talking about bluestrobe you're making no sense.

I said he cannot install the 2nd card in SLI because he said it hits the piping above in the case as you can see in those pictures because hte 7800gtx takes up 2 slotes, he claimed it was impossible... And most SLI setups have the 2 PCI E slots beside eachother except for the deluxe iwhich is what I'm trying to say...
FLopping Epenis? I'm trying to ask you guys how to fix this because the premium is way uglier than the deluxe.

can you post a link to the exact cards you picked up? if you look at the pic i modded you can easlly see that i pci slot will be convered, but there is still room between where your 2nd cards hsf would end up and the radiator...

i did build it myself
I'm too lazy to buy the tools to screw on the waterblocks and too scared to hook the tubing up and whatnot... i'm asking about fitment of the cards and there's something missing..
