Congratulations for taking such an important and brave step in your life. That takes guts, no matter how you do it.
Good luck to you.

Good for you man! It sounds like it was a really tough decision (not to admit it, but to come out). The road aint over yet (is it ever?), so keep your chin up and tongue....er chest out. ;P

I'm wondering why you were worried about telling a lesbian that you are gay. What was she going to do? Call you a pervert and say you'd burn in hell? Doesn't seem likely. I dunno... seems to be about the least threatening person you can come out to.
Now, when you tell your parents - that might be harder.

You still drive an ugly car though.

Thanks. Admitting to myself that I was gay was never realyl an issue, although when I was 11 and realized what homosexuality really was, I did think that I had AIDS for the longest time just because I was gay. Good thing I didn't come out then: "Mom, Dad, I'm gay and I'm going to die because of it!!! WAAAAAAAA "
Yeah, that would have been a little weird.

:Q that would have sucked. Self honesty is a rare thing in the world now-a-days. Congrats on your first steps with being more honest with yourself and others.
Side note when i read the title I was sure brigden was going to be the author.

Heh....have you told your parents yet?
Being honest with yourself about who you are is a very important step to a happy future! Way to go!
PS. I KNOW Skoorbie is hot, but he IS mine okay?

Well done, mate.
I find it amusing that the large majority of posts are supportive and positive in nature, considering my thread about being mistaken for gay, where most people used the term in a derogative context. Of course, they know I'm straight, so that makes it acceptable, right?
