If I buy a used 360 from an ATer for example, will I get the remaining RROD warranty? If so, what process (ie. calling) would I have to do to get it transferred?

It should be, I sold my 360 to a friend and the console recently RROD'd, he was able to send it in under warranty.

No, but as far as I know MS isn't strict about it.

if the console was registered under someone else's name..unless you have all of their info..they will not help you. If it has never been registered..you are good to go
