I cant believe i did it but last night i was talking to an old friend on AIM, he was all excited about this new job he got at this communications company. He started telling me how employees are required to recruit new people to sign up, they have to meet a quota each month or lose thier jobs, i expressed that this was kinda shady for his employer to do and i wished him luck (i really didnt feel like changing my provider) but then he busts out with this:
"Hey, if you switch for me, i'll finnaly do that LC4 thing youve been buggin me about on my computer"
"You mean RC5?" ... "Yah that's it"
Jackpot!
But then I find out all hes got is a stinkin K62-350, sheesh! But then it gets better...
after explaining to him im really into my RC5 and my team is losing its number one spot, he asks if it will help to put it on more than one PC ... "um yah dude, the more the better"
"oh ok, my boss lets me do whatever with all the PC's here at work, i could put it on the 14 servers i have tonight, all we ever use them for is serving up Unreal Tournament games"
very cool....
the servers are all PII's and PIII's that are basically file servers for an office, nothing to amazing but I fell good for doing some much needed Asslaminating on my end.
