If this is serious, contact the local womens shelter. They will pick her up with a police escort to make sure she doesn't get hurt. They will also offer her counseling to help her get on with her life.

so this is the story...
im in a relationship that i need help to get out of. he thinks he owns me. im scared to be here, but im scared to leave. im basically scared shytless to live my life right now. im emailing you from this because if he gets into my myspace and sees that ive written you he will fly off of the handle and lord knows what else. im literally scared for myself and my life right now and i dont know what to do. my parents know some of the situation but not the entire thing. im scared to let anyone know, i thougth i could save up the money to leave him but i have so many bills that it would be impossible. i dont know what to do, i need help. please only talk to me on here, at this email address. if you call me he will probly do something to me or the phone, so dont do that either until i get another cell phone that he doenst knwo about, please dont tell anyone either, cause i cant have other ppl knowing.

The day after that she left a message on her regular account saying that her cell phone was no longer...she predicted it. I hadn't talked to this girl for over two years and then she sends me this message. Its pretty obvious that she needs help. Since I haven't talked to her in so long the only thing I know is where she works, (its on her myspace page.) I sent her a message back on the screen name she sent me the message on, but haven't gotten any response. I have drove the 50 mile (one way) trip to her work twice now trying to catch her there without any luck. What should I do? Call her parents? Go to the clubs I know she goes to (knowing that her boyfriend will be there, more than likely resulting in me going to jail)...or just ignore it and go on with my life? I don't really have any feelings for her anymore, but there is no way I can let her get beat without trying to help her.

I have been listening to that Nickelback song "Never Again" nonstop since I got her message. I need someone to tell me what to do.

well you may not like it, but she's reaching out to you for help. She's another person in need. If you were in need it'd be nice to know there were others out there still trying for you. Do SOMETHING to help this girl, she's going to you for a reason. Don't let her feel completely alone.

Ex's are always bad news.

Delete the phone numbers
Trash the cards & letters
Hit the strip joint & get trashed
& then move on & never ever EVER look back

Do the Moral and Logical thing both. Inform her parents and/or "Authorities." Then was your hands of it. I don't know her, but what if she's gone batsh!t insane and is just messing with you? I'd consider the ramifications of that seriously.

And... try /calling/ her at work? Just a thought. If this really is happening, chances are the people she works with suspect something. That means they'll be on YOUR side. Call them and tell them it's urgent that she call you as soon as she gets in. Hell you don't even need a reason, just tell them it's a family emergency or something.

Best of Luck.

And after reading it all:
You still got screwed. Sometimes, things just don't work, ya know?

If I knew how to put pics on here I would, just to please the masses.

Wait... I am confused...

When you say that the whole deal made you break up with your EX girlfriend, do you mean the EX that was in trouble that you posted about? Or the one that you were with at the time this happened?

His current girlfriend probably caught wind of the fact he listens to nickelback, so she cut him loose.

I think the GF at the time broke it off because of all of this.

Nickelback is one of the greatest bands in the last twenty or so years. Definitely gonna be an influence on future bands.

She has too many bills as it is, but she's going to go out and get another cell phone so she can talk to you? Sounds like a crock to me. Ignore her and move on with your life. She needs to talk to her parents, not you.

He's drunk again, it's time to fight
She must have done something wrong tonight
The living room becomes a boxing ring
It's time to run when you see him
Clenching his fists
She's just a woman
Never again

I hear a scream, from down the hall
Amazing she can even talk at all
She cries to me, Go back to bed
I'm terrified that she'll wind up
Dead in his hands, She's just a woman
Never again

Been there before, but not like this
Seen it before, but not like this
Never before have I ever
Seen it this bad
She's just a woman
Never again

Just tell the nurse, you slipped and fell
It starts to sting as it starts to swell
She looks at you, she wants the truth
It's right out there in the waiting room
With those hands
Lookin just as sweet as he can
Never again

Seen it before, but not like this
Been there before, but not like this
Never before have I ever
Seen it this bad
She's just a woman
Well never again
Never again

Father's a name you haven't earned yet
You're just a child with a temper
Haven't you heard "Don't hit a lady"?
Kickin' your ass would be a pleasure

He's drunk again, it's time to fight
The Same old ******, just on a different night
She grabs the gun, she's had enough
Tonight she'll find out how ******'
Tough is this man
Pulls the trigger fast as she can
Never again

Seen it before, but not like this
Been there before, but not like this
Never before have I ever
Seen it this bad
She's just a woman
Never again

Seen it before, but not like this
Been there before, but not like this
Never before have I ever
Seen it this bad
She's just a woman
Never again
Never again
Never again
Never again

She has parents... she needs to get in touch with them and see if she can go home.

i would suggest that you not get too involved with this.

May I ask why I shouldn't? She reached out to me, said that none of her other friends knew. It seemed to me that she wanted me to do something, but I don't know what. My friend said it sounded like she wanted money, and to ignore her. Would you agree?

thats the first thing that popped into my head too, but im fairly cynical about those things.

sounds like she could be setting you up to get money (mention of the bills and such) or have you come out and her and her bf jump you/ mug you. It's a real possibility. I've heard of girls doing far worse.
