I discovered the pure awesomeness that is a loofah+body wash

Not sure why I have been preferring bar soaps over loofha+body wash for so long. Bar soaps always leave a film and never leaves me feeling totally clean. With a loofa+body wash, there's no residue film and I feel clean as a whistle.

I discovered that years and years ago. Also try shaving cream and a good razor...no stubble. Pro tip: shower hose..gets those hard to reach areas

I've been using one of those green dish scrubbing thingies to clean myself. Gets all the dirt and dead skin right off.

As long as you use SOME form of a scrub, you're fine.

Grow up, us Asians think it's nasty that typical 'white' people just glide on soap during shower. And nothing more for rest of their lives. Pretty nasty.

You gotta scrub man.

Scrub every inch of your body + hot shower + hop into bed = amazing tingling feeling all over that'll cure any insomnia.

i use the axe loofah thing...detailer i think its called.

its pretty coarse and just annihilates all the shit i get on my skin throughout the day at work.

also ive found that the GOJO pumice hand cleaner + the axe loofah make for a great combination.

I don't like body wash. Every one I've tried smalls funny, and some of them leave me feeling greasy. I use my hands to wash, no cloth or puff of any kind. If someone chose to use something, loofah's nice due to being biodegradable. When you're finished with it, you can burn it in the stove, or put it on the compost pile. No waste sitting around, and taking up room.

Not a fan of body wash either just because they're so wasteful by volume vs price.

Smearing a bar of soap onto your favorite scrub = much better, and so so so much cheaper.

Also body washes all come with fancy moisturizer crap, makes me feel all greasy. I want squeaky clean.

Since it's gotten cold out, my girl cat has been sticking close to me, and my right arm is spotless. She tucks up next to me on my right side, and half the time I get an arm cleaning :^D

If your beard is coarse enough no amount of quality will allow you to be stubble free for long. I had to shave eight ways in a hot shower to get a smooth feeling, but it didn't really matter since the hair under my skin still gave me a 5 o'clock shadow.

Remember to moisturize with a non-oil based lotion during the dry winter months. Using half or less the typical amount as soon as you get out of the shower seems to work best for me.

I take it you're happy with your no soap experiment? How's your hair holding up? My hair's thin, and tends to be oily. It looks dirty after a couple days of not washing, but I never let it go long enough for my system to stabilize.

Maybe I'll give that a try. I have used the dirt trick, but that was due to heavy stuff like motor oil, not common skin grease :^D
