I think a lot of post-retirement people go thru this. I still don't feel completely anchored to reality. So once you get tired of no longer having anything you really HAVE to do, it can help to try to connect with the community.

I recently joined the town's gym/YMCA and they have a great schedule of workouts - about 2 dozen different types but Zumba seems to be the most popular.

There's also volunteering if there's anything you really enjoy doing. Meetup groups are also worth checking into.

Personally, I prefer dealing with my problems using drugs, but that just me.

Lol. I’m glad my boss has been the one handling Starliner. Working in the spaceflight business the launches always know when you schedule a vacation. Although at the rate it’s going I may be back before it finally gets off the ground.

I work shifts, half the time I have no idea what day of week it is lol. Nights are even worse, because a single shift happens during 2 days, so when I wake up in the morning it's say, Tuesday, but when I get back home after my shift it's Wednesday. But when I wake up for the next, it's still Wednesday.

When I'm on vacation though I know, because I track the days like a hawk, otherwise they get away from me and next thing you know my vacation is gone. I really try to plan out what I want to each day do so I actually get it done.

Well don’t worry about us. My wife put together a 20 page document of everything we decided to do including maps and reservations to everything, so we’ve got it tracked.
