I dont get this hotel trend

I stay at hotels 3-6x a year for work. I don't think I've seen any with a view to the bathroom. I usually stay at something like a Holiday Inn Express or Best Western, if that matters.

I stay in hotels a few times a year as well. Everything from Ritz-Carlton's to Best Westerns and I've also never seen what he's talking about. shrug.

It's rare to see it in your typical business-oriented hotel, but boutiques have this more and more in my experience. As a matter of fact, a coworker stayed in one that was glass between the room and the bathroom and the shades for the bathroom were on the outside. WTF

I've seen it at restaurants way more often than at hotels... It has always been treated though to obscure what is behind it.
