Well, screw you, don't you tell me what I'm in this for. It just makes my life a WHOLE lot easier to have my scholarships, AND my parents' lives (they don't have the money to pay for my tuition and everything, and my dad's about to lose his job), and it also helps me keep my eye on my goal

I don't think he curves...my bf's teacher last year did, but I don't think mine does. And yeah, I got a high B and a low A on the other tests, so with the final I think I'll be ok. >>


Forever, uh, I actually thought he was joking in the quote, but I could be wrong. And yes, I know, it can be tough to tell if he was joking or not.

As for your test, like others said, don't let it get you down. Hey, maybe this will be a boost in motivation that you needed. I'm sure you'll try extra hard on the remaining tests (if any) and the exam. If you spend too much time worrying about it, you'll hurt your next couple grades because you'll be thinking about that. Good luck and stick with it.

Sorry, just didn't sound like he was joking to me It just took me all evening to get out of the funk I was in because of it and it didn't help any to see that message

And thanks for what you said, that's true too and I know it won't help me on finals if I dwell on it

Yeah, misunderstandings happen a lot online just because you can't see the person's face or hear the tone in their voice. I guess some people have to learn that there's a time and place for comments like that, and this probably wasn't one of those times for a comment like that. And, of course, he could have been serious...

If you constantly can pull tests in the A/B range, then, I don't think you've got anything to worry about. I find tests like that are a wake-up call for me, and I usually bounce back, work hard for the next test, and my grade will show it.

and I just got a 100 on mine. Rest of the class was pissed at me because they all did bad and didn't get a curve. Ha ha! This is just HS physics though.
