I mean, I love her and all but I was counting on being a bachelor forever and this chick ruined it. Women ruin everything.

I suppose things could be worse. I could actually be married already.... please help me, I know this is the next step.

I've been very happy with no permanent commitment for a very long time. If it wasn't for that stupid love thing I would tell her to hit the bricks like the other tramps.

I know this is gonna sound weird, hopefully not gay because there were no men involved, but I was hoping to die alone after my last girlfriend/fiance... I wanted to retire to a cabin in the woods in the middle of no where and now it appears this cabin is gonna have curtains and probably be half-way sanitary. Wasn't counting on this. Hmm.

Seriously, why is this emo?

Emos want to kill themselves.

I just am mourning the loss of my bachelor self. It's not even close.

Welcome to real life.

Bachelorhood is a fantasy. And it's a fantasy that seems cool for a while until you realize how much it sucks. I'm assuming that the OP is being facetious here.

If you've found someone who has seriously made you consider giving up single life and you think you can be happy then go for it. No reason for the childish whining. Be happy you found someone. It doesn't happen to everyone.

scroll to bottom where it says something about insult

no offense brother
That explains the emo comments and insults rather well.

The truth of the matter is that I am extremely happy to have found my soulmate and I will never feel a love like this ever again.

Having said that, I did enjoy being a pig who only used women for my carnal needs for years and years and never met one that did it for me mentally... until this special one. And it took me decades to find her!

Nope, this is the beauty of having spent too much time with loose women with no thoughts beyond tomorrow.

Jessica Alba could offer to give me "oral pleasure" and I would have to say "No, thanks, darling" That is what loves does to you.

OK. This thread is closable now. I basically wanted to proclaim my love for my woman and yet grieve over my bachelor status. Mission accomplished.

Now get ready for the inevitable rollercoaster ride of emotions that women always put men through. But the problem is it's to addicting. And by the time you force yourself off you're ruined.

Ahhhh... My sarcasm meter must need a tune up. Sounds like you're happy about the whole situation. To which I say congrats! This thread was about to inspire me to create a YAGT for the ages.

I wish you the best of luck. Enjoy your fortune.

Thanks for that. I do feel so fortunate. I haven't felt this great in a long long time. My heart was broken twice over a decade ago and I thought I lost the ability to love. My beautiful girl has taught me that I didn't even know what love was before... soulmates almost understates how intense this is.

OK, I will stop being a sappy dork now.

Congrats... You're a lucky guy. And I say enjoy your freedom! Which is exactly what you have found. There is nothing more liberating than extracating yourself from "the game" and enjoying the rest of your life with "her".

I envy you.

"What about love?"

"Love. It's overrated. Biologically similiar to consuming large quantities of chocolate"
