hmmm.. so others have this problem also, well I do have win98SE, & i do see others having in the original win98, the ones that don't have it, are you using win95 or win2k instead of win98? I was running IE 5.01 with the SP1 & it didn't have this problem nor did the original IE 5.0, but only when upgrade to 5.5 beta & final gave me this problem, that's why i do want ms to stop putting a browser in the os so we don't have to always use their newest browser. I tried the 120 trial final version of win me & the IE 5.5 in that has the same thing too, so remember when people ask you why you brought win me? just yell out "I want the IE 5.5 problems!"
good citizen of the world:I wonder how easy it is to change a number to make something final?
far away in an deep unground lab of small proportions...
unknown guy 1: should we release a final this week?
unknown guy 2: no.. wait a few more days & well just give it a .0400 or .3 or .whatever it may be & we'll just say final..
unknown guy 1: that's good thinking bi.l..
unknown guy 2: SMACK(a sound that came from the impact from unknown guy 2 fist to MAJOR contact of unknown guy 1 head) ... fool... don't ever use my name in a conversation, got that!
unknown guy 1: sorry, please forgive my stupidy sir.
unknown guy 2: it will NOT go unforgiven until you release another software with within 3 months with just the same magtitude of bugs or ELSE!
unknown guy 1: right away sir.
decision ends... the 2 laugh & walk their seperate directions...
also true that this may not be a software forum... fellow readers..BUT.. the best way to reach people is to make your topic number 1, & i can't find a higher spot than spot 1 in general hardware section, if it was at the first spot of software section, it's way too low, most of the time i am really tired by the time i get down there, & then my IE 5.5 just don't work properly that low.
