i am sorry for this, i went through something similar recently but we weren't living together or seeing each other for too long. in face i was sort of the other guy. saying that i wouldn't take it out on him because for all you know he is innocent she might be lying to him aswell.
also the excuse of sometimes women need to escape or whatever is BULL screw that, would you use that excuse if she was your wife and was sleeping with someone else? hell no. there is no excuse, if she wanted to be with soemone else she could either ask you or just leave you since you are obviously not all she is looking for. do not blame yourself either, just a bad situation

No,
he found a word (.doc) note with a short message and and email address. The email address , as it turns out, belongs to the owner of the said myspace profile. Rogodin2 then proceeded to email the owner, pretending to be the girlfriend and asking to confirm the girlfriends email. The owner did.

There is no inappropriate behavior, much less cheating/sex mentioned in the whole thing.

Just because he doesn't want to post the evidence, since it's probably a kick in the nuts just looking at it, doesn't mean he hasn't seen it. He already told her to get out, which is a pretty sure sign that there is decent proof.

seconded... I am giving the benefit of the doubt here..but what proof is there that she is cheating? All you have is some guy that knows her email address...

could be a college friend, classmate, ex boyfriend, ...all sorts of possibilities...so far all we know is that guy is trying to be a lady killer...who says it's your lady?

Similar situation, GF of one year. Didn't cheat on me but two weeks after breaking up she's hanging out with a guy friend of hers all the time. Similar in that she left me for him.

I am also sleeping on a couch temporarily and to be honest that's the worst of it. The other guy is just some douchebag and I was too good for her anyways. She was a flake and will always be dependent. The kind of character your ex has, you were probably too good for her too. The sting hurts for a bit just try not to sit back and analyze things too much.

Get angry at her. She is a bitch, how the hell can you cheat on someone? She is completely worthless. Feel good its over now instead of later, now you can move on and eventually get serious with a real human being. Today is a great day, you've stopped wasting your time.

I just say this from how I felt. After she dumped me this mask of perfection I put on her came off and I realized how bad she treated me in the past year. In your case it definately seems there was a mask as well.
