Sounds like it just needs some Cat Nip. Give it alot.

I'm much more of a dog person but cats can be cool. Once I closed my garage door and this neighbors
cat had been sleeping on top of it.. Well while the door was closer the cat got its tail pinched in the
garage door...

I left it hanging and screaming for a few mins while I laughed me ass off and showed my
friend. Then I opened the door so it could fall to the ground.

I used to not like cats before, but after staying with a friend who has a cat I now like both dogs and cats. Even though my preference is having a dog, I think a busy college student is better off having a cat. Later on I hope to get both a dog and a cat, I hear that they actually get along most of the time - is that true?

I have a love hate relationship with my 2 cats (got them as kittens). Hate only comes from me being severely allergic to them. But they are so cute. Once the get a little older, and learn who you are, they like to rub up against your legs, they make you feel happy sometimes. Also, give them some cat nip, and watch the fun begin. My mom found a catnip ball she bought a few months ago shoved under the couch, so we gave it back to them, and lets just say they weren't fully here for the past few days.

Ciber,
If you don't like her cat, move out.
If you ever have a baby, are you gonna throw it out the window when it wakes you up in the middle of the night?
At least it was trying to play with you.
How old are you?
I hate dogs. As destructive as some cats can be (and not all are), some dogs can be much worse. Trust me. My GF has a dog and a cat. BTW, her cat has seen the dog fetch and so she'll (cat) fetch too. And we'll tire out before she will. We throw a hair band (?) and she'll run after it and immediately bring it straight back, dropping it at our feet or on our lap. She understands the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. One day I threw a band over the kitchen counter/bar, she jumped on and over the bar. We were rolling. Same w/ furniture. The dog just goes around. BTW, my GF always said she was allergic to cats. Now she owns one, w/ no problems.
Anyone that could be so cruel to a cat (or dog) as some are needs to burn in hell.
Some people, especially the rednecks here in the southeast think it's cool to say "I hate cats" or "I'll kill a ____ ____ cat". My Dad (not a redneck) didn't like cats before we had one, now you couldn't drag their cat away from him.
The next door neighbors dog barks in the morning waking me up. The dog (beagle) down the street howls all night keeping me up. The dog across the street runs and jumps on me, getting me muddy. Another small dog from down the street runs up and barks like crazy. Another dog (doberman) up the street barks at me like he wants to eat me (luckily their electric fence works). Another neighbor's dog hangs out in my garage. The other next door neighbor's dog cr*ps in my yard. What is that, 7? All this is true. Yet, no one's cat has ever bothered me in any way.
BTW, it'll calm down in a year or so, Ciber.

Be glad some of you don't live in ancient egypt.
'The Role of Cats in Ancient Egypt' from: http://www.richeast.org/htwm/cats/Cats.html
Cats were treated as gods, and were protected by law, as well. The punishment for harming or killing a cat was harsh (Wolf, 1997). Diodorus Siculus said:
Whoever kills a cat in Egypt is condemned to death, whether he committed this crime deliberately or not. The people gather and kill him.

Rather than harm the cats, they [Egyptians] surrendered the city to the Persians without a fight. It was a devastating loss for the Egyptians

when a fire broke out in Egypt, the men would stand in a line to prevent harm to the cats, thinking more of that than extinguishing the fire.

aircooled, your cat brought the bunny as a trophy for you. Just means she likes you and knows you're boss. BTW, nice siamese.

rockyct, did you photoshop your cat's eyes green? BTW, my GF's cat does the gently paw on the face at 5:30 (but back at a few weeks old, it was 3am). But still better than the dog's whining and barking at 5am.

The pic of the cat in the box w/ peanuts is awesome.

AFAIK, many (not all) people w/ 'fat cats' are overfeeding them. It is unhealthy. Google "overweight cats".

Well... when my dad was growing up, he lived on a farm. That didn't make him a "hillbilly"; in fact, the first thing he did at 17 was leave to go to the Air Force Academy because he knew that the farming life wasn't for him. Too bad they retired his F-111B. I heard that was a pretty sweet aircraft.
It wasn't too sweet, since it never made it to production.

From http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/f-111.htm :
Developed for the U.S. Navy, the F-111B was canceled before its production
From http://home.att.net/~jbaugher1/f111_4.html
By October 1967, the Navy was finally convinced that the F-111B was a lost cause and would never be developed into a useful carrier aircraft and recommended that the project be terminated. The axe finally fell in May of 1968 when both houses of Congress refused to fund F-111B production.

Was your dad a test pilot?

I hate cats soo much! They are disgusting rodents/animals. I hate it when they purr and they make that sick noise. I can't be in the same room as cats because of their nasty fur.

i love kicking them when i see them on the street.

That's the nastiest picture i've ever seen.

I've also noticed that cat owners are really messy people. That's so gross how some owners let their cats run loose outside and then they snuggle with them when the cat comes back.

It's all culture. The Egyptians also worshipped cows, yet we slaughter them by the millions and eat them. Those we don't slaughter, we enslave for milk. I feel nothing more for a cat than I do a cow.

It was a pretty sweet airplane by comparison to anything I'll ever be in. I don't know about May of 1968 because my dad didn't graduate until 1972. He flew for about 6 or 7 years as a navigator. But hey, I'd take that. I don't think I'll ever hit Mach 2.There's a cat in the kettle at the Peking Moon.

My point = he couldn't have flown a B varient, unless he was a test pilot.

I gotta admit, he's pretty funny sometimes.... But the other day he was messing around with the main power tap in my room and shut off EVERYTHING in my room... That's something you just dont do .

Aww, the kitten was just telling you he wanted you to play with him. If it could talk it would say "Ciber! Stop neffing and play with me!"

Here's an example.

I'm on the computer at like 3 am and leave my room to get a drink, on my way back to my room this stupid cat has the little habit of jumping out of nowhere at full speed and attacking my legs, scaring the crap out of me and making me spill my damn drink. I then have to spend 5 mins cleaning the damn floor and getting another drink.

If it wasnt for my mom i would throw the damn sob out the damn window(think he would survive 4 stories?). My sister hates the damn thing also.

Life is tough all over.
