I JUST GOT ACCEPTED INTO VIRGINIA TECH!!!!!!

I have been checking the online app status EVERYDAY for the past 3 weeks, and they finally uploaded it. It says (i guess since since the online part is unofficial with the letter being official) "Unofficial Early Decision Offer"

YEAH!!!!

I don't know how that stacks up in terms of American schools, but I know the feeling when I got accepted to my first choice school. It was amazing! I couldn't stop giggling for a few hours.

Well i applied early decision (which is binding) into General Studies. Now that i got accepted im transfering into the engineering school. THe Engineering school IIRC is one of the Top 10 in the country.

I hope you did choose it for the right reasons, however! My university (Queen's Universty, Kingston, Ontario) is one of the best in the country, however, even the highest ranks can't make up for the dismal city. I am considering transferring back to an institution in my hometown next year.

Remember, though, this is not the end, it is merely the beggining. You have a great opportunity, but that school will not take you anywhere unless you work hard. Take advantage of this opportunity that many people will never get.

Ok, way to ruin the spirit. First off, i dont call it "VA" tech. I say Virginia, however when typing in all caps VA as an abreviation from Virginia seems like it works.

Well i originally, when i was little, wanted to go to Penn State University. I changed as i knew Tech had a better engineering program. So i visited an Open House and absolutely loved the campus and the city.

I would like to say:

Thank You soo much to all the ATers who answered my painful College Questions, and helped me with the Application process. It has truly paid off!!

take world regions,---teacher is amazing. easy A
take personal health, and drug ed and GPA boosters. both are super super easy a's

one more thing. move off campus and take the BT. foxridge is real awesome. windsor hills is more studios. foxridge has all the parties.

i reccommend both depending on your style. i lived in both

the 5 bedroom apartments are foxridge are huge. and taking the BT isnt really bad.

if i recall correctly. sorry for spelling.... boyer teachers world regions and redican teaches the other too. great easy classes.

boyer is a blast.. so much energy. going to class is fun to see his stunts. and you get to watch some great movies too.

yeah. frosh year is on campus. i lived in Lee hall for two years then moved off. Lee was the best. hehehe..
