ONLY down side at the moment is the encoding is limited to only 320x240 so it doesn't take the full advantage of the 480x272 resolution. The movies have 4 display options and so you can watch widescreen stuff in widescreen. The people just look tall and thin but when you watch it on the PSP with the 'widescreen' option the people look normal again.

this is probably a stupid question but you're playing the movies from the memory stick right?
how much space do you have on the stick?
I have a 512MB MS DUO Pro and the 32MB that comes with the VALUE PACK.
There is a 1GB MS DUO Pro out and one by SanDisk should be out at launch or sooner. MSRP ~ $160 but it should drop on it.
280MB for nearly 2hrs is not bad. So 3 films on a 1GB MS isn't bad imo but they should make a 2GB MS DUO Pro sometime or better yet a 4Gb one more is better.
Load times:
Ridge Racer feels fine with loads time.
The Vampire Chronicles: Choas Tower IS noticeably slower but you just deal with it.
It is up to the manufactures to make the load times better.
Battery life is about 8-10hrs with movies from the MS Duo Pro. 3-4hrs from the UMD when they release movies on it.
Their is also a USB CABLE CHARGER. So once your at work or near a pc you can hook it in and it will start to charge the PSP.
