I got on the wrong bus in Queens, NY...

I got on this bus coming from Rikers Island. In there were some female ex-prisoners, most of whom were missing front teeth. They were loud and ghetto. As soon as one of them saw a liquor store she started to jump up and down and wanted to jump out the window to go get something to drink. These were supposedly women. Imagine how worse the men are.

EDIT: It was a NYC MTA bus, not a Corrections bus.

I haven't ridden a bus in must be over 15 years, except for a special shuttle to the airport and that's way different. Regular transit bus, nope. I remember when I first rode buses I was appalled at how seedy they were, and a big part of it was the clientele. This ride in Queens sounds like a douzy. I remember one bus ride I took the day I heard that one of my favorite artists had died (Henry Miller). I was sitting in the back and someone threatened me. I was in a foul mood to begin with. I said, "if you don't want to get into trouble you'll leave me alone!" I could see the respect on everyone's faces. I'll never forget that.

Loud people on the street piss me off. Today, I was washing my car in the driveway and some guys were mouthing off walking down the sidewalk. Just being foul and nasty and very very loud. I purposely set off my car alarm just to send a message. Shit, this is a residential neighborhood! Kids and everything. I was sure it was the right thing to do! My car alarm is hell of nasty! It's one of those that are like a mockingbird... never makes the same sound twice. Gotta love it.
