I got the itch again.. I'm back! - Joined TA at DPAD

It's been a very long time since I've done any DC stuff so I decided to change that.

Started up 3 machines on DPAD for Team Anandtech today.

I'm still getting the lay of the land with this project, how long should it take for me to show up in the stats?

Welcome back to DC.

As far as dpad goes. It depends on how long it takes for you to submit work. There is a threshold where dpad submits work. xx results in the results.txt file or some size threshold. I cant really remember at this point. Once results are uploaded the stats table reflects it fairly quickly. (hourly or less)

Edit: I just looked at my sendlog and DPAD uploaded 50 results at a time.

the problem with the version of DPAD that is part of Yoyo@Home and runs through BOINC is that you cannot crunch for TeAm AnandTech. you must run the non-BOINC standalone version of DPAD to earn credit for TA.

this is true

that being said, i've looked at the Yoyo@Home project, and really DPAD is what interests me most. i'd rather devote my resources to just that, so it looks like i'll have to use the standalone (non-BOINC) version when i'm finally ready to join the project...and don't worry, i'll be crunching for the TeAm when i do finally join

I'm crunching F@H on my main rig atm, I was very active in DPAD after S@H classic finished (even did some stats), up until last year sometime..... can't remember exactly :$, still gotta a friends rig & my 2nd rig crunching a little DPAD though .
