The last time I was there, they were playing music from the Yoshida Brothers. They are Japanese.

I think my body got trained from being in construction back in the late 80's. If you can eat off of food trucks, you can handle anything.

It's sad that people who swear by PF Chang, Pei Wei and Panda Express don't know they are related.

PF Chang's owns Pei Wei. Panda Express isn't related to them.

I used to like Panda Express but got tired of the low quality chicken they use.

Edit: Big fan of Pei Wei though and P.F. Chang's is decent but the price seems to have gone up a lot recently. I'll still go though, no Pei Wei around here and the other Chinese restaurants in the area aren't very good.

Wish Pei Wei was a franchise and not fully corporate owned. That place would rake in the cash here in Bentonville/Rogers. Really their only competition would be P.F. Chang's and the local one is always extremely busy. They're not going for the same market really, so they wouldn't be cannibalizing much.

I don't really like Chinese food, but Panda Express is the only place I'll eat it. I like it because I can see everything that's going on. I can see the stored food, I can see them prepare it and I can see it sit in the pans until I order it. I don't have to worry about getting food poisoning from undercooked cat like at the various hole in the wall Chinese places that people swear by. I also don't care for PF Changs, because high-end Chinese food is an oxymoron. I've somehow never been to Pei Wei, but live near several.

Pei Wei's doesn't have Orange Chicken, I can't speak for the quality of the food they do have. But Orange Chicken > * So I could see someone eating Panda Express but not there. Only think Pei Wei's has going for it, at least the one I went to. They have the Coke Fusion machine where you can make a thousand different sodas.

I'm not unwilling to eat at Pei Wei, I just haven't. I've never been impressed by PF Changs, so I've always assumed that Pei Wei was just more of the same. And to echo Quebert, I love the orange chicken at Panda Express.

Not sure about that, but we had a Chinese exchange student here for a couple of days and took her to a mediocre Americanized Chinese buffet and she loved it. We were quite surprised.
