Your doctor should help you. If you're in college go to student health services and ask about psychological services. They're generally free and there's no shame in talking to a professional about the way you're feeling.
This. I smack you occasionally online because your whiny behavior kinda begs for it, but in all seriousness if you think you have a problem with depression then it is affecting every area of your life, and it is treatable.

Get some help; life sucks sometimes but you should be able to keep pushing through it. If you don't feel like you can on your own then definitely get some assistance.

I'm able to get through life by my own (Done it so far). It's just that I don't like to go through it alone.

What do you mean by they always lie? I'm thinking you just have unreasonable expectations of other people.

Trident, you're what, 20? I'm not much older than you. I don't have a ton of experience dating either, but right now it's not something that worries me. Would I like a girlfriend? Yeah sure, it'd be nice, but I right now I'm young, single, have a job, and just want to have fun. I don't stress/worry because I know being happy with myself will lead me onto being happy with another person. Once you focus on other things (school for you, in my case my job), things will get better. It takes time, but you will grow.

We have a lot to look forward to in life, and things WILL fall into place, though it may not seem like it. You are being too hard on yourself with this trying to find a girlfriend routine. One heartbreak doesn't mean you should 'give up' on life; keep moving on. It's very hard, I know, and sure you'll feel shitty for some time; but everybody goes through things like this, it's part of maturing into an adult.

Yea.. TridenT... it's hard being a feminist...
The general thinking about suicide is that people don't kill themselves when their life sucks. They kill themselves when their life sucks and they can't figure out why or what to do about it. This is thought to be the reason behind the weak correlation between per capital GDP and suicide - when your life sucks and you're poor, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that being poor is probably the root of your problems. When your life sucks and you're rich, it's less easy to figure out why and to make goals to try fix it.

I'm not saying this is OP at all, but just thought this was pretty neat

Not really. It selfishly states that one should have a moral obligation to the emotional reaction of others over your own suicide, and assumes that a suicidal person would find pleasure in "adventures".

Having read many of the OP's "Trials and Tribulations" over the past few years, I agree with him. It's time for him to give up.
He obviously is never going to amount to anything, will never succeed at anything, will never find a mate.
Hopefully, his parents still have room for him in the basement.

Most men try to hard with women. Usually, it just 'happens' and if you try to push that moment then it ends up causing you much brain pain.

I agree. When you're a douchebag to everyone and think you're better than everyone including his own family, who would want to be around someone like that. His ugly personality, laziness, excuses for everything and unwillingness to change leaves him at where he is now. No sympathy here.

Yup, some of us that have been around to read his earlier threads have lost sympathy for him a long time ago.

When myself and others have given him countless advice for him to only call us idiots and that he knows better than us, I'm sure he does this to folks in real life too. Folks here and in real life, give up on the little douche.

I'm pretty sure that your idea of advice begins and ends with "LMAO virgin loser, get a life."

only advice in the thread:
If you are serious, you don't need a GP. You need a psychiatrist. And therapy. And maybe some antidepressants.

also trident: being that it's winter and you are in Seattle, you're likely feeling the effects of SAD: seasonal affect disorder.

You may well just need to spend some time exposed to the sun and get some vitamin D supplements.

Of course you also need to realize that you're the biggest liar you know and forgive yourself and others for their faults.
