My first language only has rolling R sounds. I find the R sound in English sometimes difficult. A word like 'squirrel' is impossible for me to pronounce well, with rolling R's it'd be easy. Everyone should do rolling R's.
There was this kid back in middle school (in Colombia) who couldn't say rolling r's and everyone made fun of him. His parents even sent him to speech therapy.
I love listening to NPR in Texas because the anchors will almost kill themselves to super roll the R when they are talking to someone or about something related to the Latino (another word they go nuts with by emphasising the "tee") community.
Just takes practice and good instruction. I learned how to do it in Spanish in junior high. I never ended up using it, as I switched to French in High School, but it helps with my girl friend now and her Tagalog words she tries to get me to say.
