I hate my eVga 680i and need some suggestions for my E6600 build

Sadly, I built my current setup around the eVGA 680i around April 07. Since day 1 I have nothing but problems and temporary stability.

1st board sparked and die on the very 1st POST (I shit you not)
2nd board ran for a few months then died in the infamous "--" error
3rd board ran for a few months then became very unstable & eventually quit loading Windows (system would POST, pass MEM Test, and pass Mersenne Prime Test) - replaced video card and memory to verify & system would still not boot into Windows
4th board same problem out of the box from RMA dept


So I officially give up on this POS and need some advice for a new MB.

Suggetions?

Depends what you are looking for, but i'd suggest P35.

Gigabyte's DS3R
Asus's P5K-E
Abit's IP35-E
MSI's Neo2-FR
DFI's T2RL

Been looking at that Abit board - I haven't bought a board from them in years.

The Abit IP35-E n7 listed is a great board, but if you plan to keep a raid config, you'll have to look beyond a budget P35 board. The Abit IP-35 Pro is nice too and it does raid.

Most will recommed a P35 based board which is a great choice. This is a great x38 board if you want PCI 2.0 and decent 1066 support.

The P35-DS3R or MSI P35 Neo2-FR would be great choices and not cost a lot of $$$

Been hearing good things about the p35 based DFI boards. My suggestion would be the DK P35-T2RS. That is just my opinion though.
