And that is to destroy capitalism. Capitalism favors only the rich because the poors have to work their ass off so the rich can profits and have an easy life. Those who own everything are known as the capitalist, they control everything in life including the house you live in, how much taxes you pay. I see capitalism as unfair others who have less then you and have done most of the work for them. It's a poor trade IMHO, because not everyone is well rewarded for what they do in life. We pay, and pay for things necessary for life that never seem to end. Money cannot be made easily, most earn it the hardway by offering their labors to others for a small pay. So this forces people to get desperate and even do things that are unnecessary such as mowing your neighbor's lawn, sell your junk on ebay because you need money real bad and even prostitution for those who want easy money with no work.

Money = power to rule the world. Suppose I create money and loan it to Joe, he would be essentially my slave forever as long as he values money above all else. That's how it is now.

For those who love capitalism and are against everything I am saying now, you can laugh all you want now but I hate money more then anything else in life because money well in nature earns you respect even if you don't deserve it. I hate that.
My rage will not die anytime soon against all the evil things that money has done to people, my anger will keep multiplying until one day Capitalism is destroyed completely from right under where it hurts most.

Most seems to be entertained by me in life but do not know that I am not joking.
Have I've been brainwashed? Hell no, I know what I am talking about.

Last, is slavery a good thing? Hell no, I want to free, free from any controls that is against my free will. Against what I like to do and not like to do.

(reagan, head wobbling) Well, I feel your pain. (/reagan)

Power corrupts and ultimate....

Even if you did have a better system, can I trust that you'll make sure that it's properly implemented?

Just remember, Greed is good. And steal from those you can but not those that you trust.

One day, the workers will rise up against their oppressors, take back the means of sustaining themselves and theior brethren(sp), and live leisurely, producing enough for a stable environment.

...or they'll be convinced that something else gives them a good deal, and go back to being moderately unhappy. Then their financial insecurities (fears) will be used against them for the incumbancy (is that even a word?) of the people that tricked them, and their heirs.

Money is fine. It is an abstraction for goods and services that is backed by bankers (at one point backed by the government, but the Federal Reserve bank act killed that). Greed is bad. People in large numbers stupid enough to allow the greedy to control them, is worse.

Personally, I like having the freedom to sell my crap on ebay, and I'm pretty sure the people who are buying it are happy to get a good deal. Can you explain how this causes the oppression of the masses?

Also, I don't particularly understand how getting rid of capitalism will make you more free. I don't consider being forced to farm my own food and provide all of my own goods freedom. I hate gardening. I hate weeding, I hate worms on my hands, and I hate working in the sun in the summer. I would much rather specialize in a trade and exchange the value of my time with someone else for those goods. We do that with currency. Or, "money," if you will.

Explain to me how yelling "burn it all down!" solves the social problems you referred to?

It doesn't, and notice how they don't offer up a solution as to what to replace capitalism with..

and non-capitalistic systems are immune to corruption?
I'm sure that's not what you mean, but I'm really trying to figure out what you're trying to say.

captialism is not a perfect system, but it does provide the most oppertunity for the most people.

Exactly. People always complain about capitalism, but I have never heard of a good suggestion to replace it. Pointing out problems without offering solutions is just whining.

I just graduated from college a few weeks ago and got a job making considerably more than my peers. This happened because I did very well in school and picked a field that gave me extremely marketable skills, and capitalism rewards me for this. I don't have a problem with that, anything else would be unfair to ME.

Or how about China? They are a good example because they are doing well to exactly the extent they are embracing capitalism.
