I love old people, most of them are funny. Where i work there is an 80 yr old Japanese lady who volunteers for us. She says the most hilarious, naughty stuff, we laugh hysterically...one day she came into an office, where I was talking to another woman. She comes in to tell us something and she suddenly farted. With her awesome Japanese accent, she says "oops I farted......when you get old, the hole not so tight anymore!" F-ing hilarious!!

Rarely have I met senior citizen that I haven't liked. My wife's grandparents are in their mid-80's, still live in their home and are cool as shit. I also have to tell them to stop sending us money. lol.

My 80-something grandparents do just fine. The only thing my grandpa doesn't quite "get" is networking. My grandmother is the designated emailer/emailee - but she's been handling family correspondence since they were married.

Of course, they've been using the damn things longer than I've been alive, so there's that.

One old guy I deal with is "the computer guy" in his crowd. I try to give gentle recommendations, but he isn't interested...

"It's not a great idea to run multiple A/Vs simultaneously"

"Registry cleaning really doesn't do anything, and you can screwup your machine"

"You don't really need WinZip. 7Zip is better anyway"

"I wouldn't spend money on that "tuneup" program. It doesn't really do anything"

He always has issues with his machine, but isn't interested in good fixes. He trusts bullshit online magazines that exist only to sell crap more than he trusts me :^/

I think that the bitter, hateful ones tend to die off or become hermits as they age, which really helps the average.

Sounds like something my Mom would say. Dad's a hypochondriac. They've been married 51 years and Mom has had to listen to him complain the whole time. Mom says," You've been dying since I met you. Just get on with it."

Another time, he coded on the table at the hospital. Several shocks later, he comes back around.
Mom: Did you see a white light when you died?
Dad: I didn't see a G.D. thing.
Mom: Guess you're going to Hell then.
