I have an Iowa quarter missing the silver on one side-is it worth anything?

I have a 2004 Iowa quarter missing the silver on one side(one side is silver the other is copper colored. Any idea if its worth anything?

Some flaws in coins can be worth a lot of money. Anything can be valuable if there's someone willing to buy it. I'd do some more research and see how common the flaw is, in the meantime keep the coin safe.

Yes, it's worth anywhere from $200-$500 retail, which means you'd get about 30% less than that by selling it to a dealer.

The key guy for these is fredweinberg.com. You can check out similar errors here (look at the coins listed as clad layer missing). To get top dollar the coin would need to be authenticated and graded by PCGS.
