But as you should know.. benzos are addictive and withdrawal is not pretty. They do work really well for the purpose at hand though.

I personally go for a run these days.. works best for me- I highly reccomend it, to clear your mind and get some of those natural endorphins going.

There is always meditation, yoga, and things of this nature.

Alcohol, on the otherhand... is the worst alternative available.

truth. It works ridiculously well, but you have to really exert yourself. there is a point where aerobic exercise becomes almost like meditation. which is also a good solution, especially when paried with exercise.

I'm gonna have to say exercise, too. I think without regular exercise (I exercise 6 days a week for at least 30 minutes) I would need to be on some sort of medication. Give it a try, you might like it! I alternate running and biking, btw so that I don't get bored of any particular type of exercise.

Ask a doctor for medical advice, not AT. Anxiety can be an extremely serious health issue.
