I came across this article in the local free computer publication today and thought that the computing prowess of ATOT viewers would like to comment.
Read and think about it
Basically what I get out of the article is that the general society has a lack of integrity. Do you agree of disagree with this guy?

I disagree. I have NO PROBLEM paying royalties to artists. What I do have a problem with is paying $15 for a CD. Of that $15 about $.20 goes to the artist as a royalty. The rest is pocketed by the greedy scumbag recording label. And they can go and F__K themselves. I would gladly pay the artists directly but the RIAA will never stand for that as the RIAA is more interested in what is best for the record companies and not the artists.

I will still however buy CDs when I truly love them, but I do this much more rarely than I would if I could download a high quality (.wav or other uncompressed format) piece of music digitally and only pay the artist.

I totally agree with dvda....except for the "I will still buy CD's" part. Screw that, the industry needs a big douching, and the best way to do that is to quit feeding them money.
